That’s where recycling steps in – and it’s a game-changer.
E-waste is essentially any electronic appliance.
The Australian government has created a scheme to ensure the recycling of e-waste.
E-waste often contains rare or toxic materials that should avoid landfill.
Categories of e-waste
There are two grades, these are: In-Scope and Out-of-Scope
In-Scope (free drop off)
Out-of-Scope (paid drop off)
Not covered by government and require additional processing before being sent to landfill.
Recycle your e-waste responsibly.
Deliver to our Transfer Stations or request a collection.
Best practice for preparing scrap metal for recycling.
To ensure your load will be collected, please follow the guidelines on accepted materials. Scrap should be free from the following:
– Oil
– Flammable liquids
– Gas vessels
– Radioactive material
– Asbestos
– Lithium
– Concrete
We need to be able to unload the scrap onto our site. Our largest forklift has a 7 tonne capacity. If your load exceeds this weight, please speak to an Account Manager.
We want to ensure scrap is safely and efficiently handled. Failure to meet these standards will result in the load being turned away.
