Fundraising
Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme provides ways for community groups and charities to raise funds and keep valuable containers out of landfill.
Involve your organisation
Organisations interested in fundraising, will first need to register with CDS Vic to obtain a Donation Partner ID. This verifies your organisation as a registered entity in Victoria.
To receive payments, organisations will also need to activate their Donation Partner ID with each relevant Zone Operator. Remember, we are located in the ‘East’ zone.
The CDS Vic Donation Partner register is now open, and there is no closing date for registering.
Spread the word
If you’re a registered donation partner, encourage your supporters to donate their refunds to your organisation at our refund point.
After you return
Every eligible drink container returned contributes to our circular economy.
By participating, you are:
- Creating clean streams of recycling
- Reducing litter
- Earning change for yourself, your community or a charity
